Maremma has been the home of wild boar hunt, wine, food and folk traditions throughout the centuries.
Dipped into the green Tuscan countryside the hunting reserve, part of the della Gherardesca family’s estate, still exists nowadays. Inhabited by local wildlife such as pheasants and wild boars, the reserve is available to practice the ancient activity of bird and wild boar shooting.
In a highly prestigious naturalistic and scenic context stands an extremely charming hunting lodge surrounded by uncontaminated woods where one can enjoy a beautiful day outdoor.
The strategic position of the entire area of the Estate of the Castle of Castagneto Carducci, also allows to reach in a very short time the most important art cities in Tuscany passing through the green hills that characterize the region.
We got married here 3 weeks ago. The castle and church are breathtaking. The setting is so unique with amazing views. There are so many hidden parts of the castle, so each part of our wedding was a surprise for our guests. Antonella was our point of contact and was a star, she put up with all our questions and our numerous visits with family and made us feel so welcome. A beautiful hidden part of Tuscany.
